Do you dream of being part of the United Nations, or making a difference in how world events play out? Join us for our UNSW Arts & Law United Nations Workshop!

In collaboration with the UNSW United Nations Society, this unique opportunity will enable you to learn about the work and operation of the United Nations through a Model UN (MUN) - a simulation of the debate and diplomacy which occurs in the UN’s real General Assembly.

If you’re in Years 10-12, come and be inspired by addressing and resolving real world issues affecting our global society – building your skills in diplomacy, negotiation and public speaking.

The day begins with an Opening Ceremony and an introduction to how a Model United Nations (MUN) crisis scenario works. An international crisis will break out and require you to use your diplomacy, negotiation and public speaking skills to influence fellow delegates and come up with a course of action that all parties can agree to.

Students will explore the campus of one of Australia’s leading universities and learn about degrees offered in Arts & Social Sciences, Law and Public Health.

No experience in MUN is required and UNSW UN Society mentors will be on hand to guide you through the proceedings and answer any questions.

Don’t miss out, places are limited and each participant must register individually.
