We are going to explore the trends, threats and future of cyber security. We’ll discover why hacking is on the rise and what this means for businesses, discuss how cyberspace affects our own personal lives and what we can look out for in the future.

Meet our Panellists:

Professor Richard Buckland is an expert in Cyber Security from the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW. He is the Director of SECedu - the UNSW/CommBank Security Engineering Capability partnership, Director of Education of the UNSW Institute for Cyber Security and serves on the advisory boards of several other educational institutions including the cyber advisory board for TAFE NSW.

Dr Eila Erfani is a Senior Lecturer at the UNSW Business School's School of Information Systems and Technology Management (SISTM), where she serves as the Lead in the Cybersecurity Management major. Eila is an investigator in research grants, an author of peer-reviewed journal articles, and a mentor to HDR (Higher Degree Research) students. Her research findings have found prestigious homes in publications like the Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology. 

Ms. Priyal Dalal graduated with a Distinction in Bachelor of Information Systems in 2021 at UNSW. She started her graduate role at KPMG in 2022 and is currently a Cyber Security Consultant where she works across Cyber assurance, strategy and governance.
