Tyree Room, John Niland Scientia Building
This event has ended

The Disability Innovation Institute (DIIU) provides seed funding for projects which strengthen inclusive and interdisciplinary research at UNSW and have significant potential to contribute to a better quality of life for people with disability.

This interactive showcase is for anyone who is interested in inclusive research, the disability sector, and those who intend to apply for future DIIU seed funding, including academic researchers and their community partners.

The showcase is a unique opportunity to learn about the funded projects and to gain insight into lessons learnt about inclusive and interdisciplinary research from this year’s recipients.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the funding recipients and the DIIU academic leads. Several Disabled People’s Organisations are also going to attend the event to share their perspectives on inclusive research.

Wheelchair Accessible: The Tyree Room is wheelchair accessible.

Assisted Listening: The Disability Innovation Institute can provide Auslan interpreting services for selected talks upon request. A portable hearing loop is also available. Please provide details in your registration.
