Michael Spencer is a board member of the Alliance for Water Stewardship and research fellow at Monash Business School. He has had a long career as a practitioner holding leadership positions in private industry, government, civil society and the media.

Despite growing complexity of water challenges facing authorities and policy makers, the water industry largely remains focused on engineering and regulatory solutions despite a decade of calls for behavioural solutions and the need to engage water using customers. In this seminar Michael Spencer, highlights the opportunity and need for behavioural solutions and the limitations attitudes of the industry place on developing new solutions.

Michael Spencer is a member of the Global Water Institute's International Advisory Committee.
