Hear from award-winning businesswoman, former educator, best-selling author and engaging storyteller, Heidi Dening on how you can positively manage your own wellbeing and influence a culture of change to #EmbraceEquity across our campus with three simple, evidence-based strategies. There will be opportunities for a Q&A session with Heidi, facilitated by Spike Barlow, Head of School of Engineering and IT.

Heidi Dening believes that education changes lives and when combined with the insights she has learnt from surviving a paralysing illness, a gunpoint kidnapping, a life-threatening tsunami and petrol bombs, along with her science-backed education – she has the unique ability to empower leaders and their teams to find the courage to work at their fullest potential despite change, stress and uncertainty. 

She has dedicated her career to inspiring thousands of people globally with resilience, self-leadership and wellbeing programs from small children on remote pacific islands to professional teams across 19 different industries. 

She was named 'Best International Keynote Speaker' in the Asia Pacific region at the Influential Businesswoman Awards and is a best-selling author, often appearing in the media as an expert on resilience.
