Escape Acts: Four Events

How do we get out of here? What is holding us back? What are you prepared to do?

Pinned as we are by the weight of things, by structures that seem bigger than us and unchangeable, we place our hope in small acts of care and connection that we call ‘performance’. In gathering together, in laughing, taking risks, and sharing stories, maybe we find a glimpse of another world that is possible.  Join us for an evening of four short performances, devised by emerging artists in the third-year Collaborative Performance Making course, facilitated by performance-maker and UNSW lecturer Theron Schmidt.
