A concert by PhD student Halina Leung.

This recital is inspired by the largely forgotten works of the early to mid-twentieth century piano repertoire. Although Sancan, Dutilleux, Stravinsky, and Agosti were prominent musicians in their lifetime, their piano compositions and transcriptions are less well-known with only a handful of piano works in regular performance repertoire today. This recital highlights some of the hidden gems by these pianist-composers who demonstrated an expert understanding of the instrument and its technique.
