The UNSW Ageing Futures Institute will be hosting a webinar to bring together a diverse panel of leading experts who will present and discuss different perspectives on the impact of Ageism on individuals and society.

Speakers include:

  • Mr Mick Gooda - Public servant who served as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner of the Australian Human Rights Commission
  • Professor Marian Baird AO - Professor of Gender and Employment Relations (University of Sydney) and a Presiding Pro-Chancellor of the University of Sydney
  • Professor Andrew Byrnes - Professor of International Law (UNSW) and Institute member who is advocating for a comprehensive commitment to human rights framework being applied to ageing/aged care
  • Professor Bruce Judd – Institute member and Inaugural Director of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) and inaugural Deputy Director of the City Futures Research Centre (UNSW).
