UNSW Founders New Wave is on a mission to close the gender gap in entrepreneurship by equipping aspiring women founders with the tools, funding, and networks they need to thrive. We’re proud to have supported over 800 women through the New Wave program since 2017, which has contributed to the startups in our community being 53% female founded (As of early 2024).
But this movement isn’t just about representation - it’s about driving innovation, broadening perspectives, and building a more inclusive, balanced, and dynamic startup ecosystem.
