Photojournalism in an age of fake news
Award-winning Sydney Morning Herald photographers Kate Geraghty and Nick Moir, with managing photographic editor Mags King, will discuss their extraordinary body of work and the importance of bearing witness through photojournalism in an era of deep fakes and disinformation.
Geraghty and Moir have built their reputations by putting their lives on the line to visually capture the biggest stories in nature and geopolitics through an ecological and human lens. This discussion will be moderated by Newsworthy UNSW's Connie Levett with a Q&A to follow.
