Science Week: Plastic Micro-Recycling Workshop
This Science Week, UNSW Library invites you to get curious about sustainability, innovation, and making a real-world impact. Join us for a plastic micro-recycling workshop led by Defy Designs, a Sydney-based company that specialise in designing and manufacturing beautiful products made from plastic destined for landfill.
In this hands-on session, you'll explore the stages of plastic recycling, design, and manufacturing, while discovering how individuals and organisations can support a circular economy. This workshop offers insights into how science, business, and design can come together to tackle complex challenges.
This workshop is part of the Materials Revolution exhibition, developed by UNSW Library in collaboration with UNSW Sustainable Materials Research & Technology (SMaRT) Centre.
There will be two workshops sessions:
Session 1 - 12.00pm - 12.45pm
Session 2 - 1.30pm - 2.15pm
