Trustworthy Digital Society Research Forum 2024
Hosted by UNSW Sydney and UTS, the Trustworthy Digital Society Research Forum represents a strategic collaboration platform for academia, industry, and government to cultivate a digitally enabled society that is equitable, inclusive, and sustainable where everyone can participate fully, safely, and confidently in the digital world.
What to Expect.
Join a select group of 60-80 leaders from government, industry, and academia.
The forum will feature:
- Presentations by leading voices in digital trust.
- Engagement with community representatives from identified priority populations.
- Collaboration opportunities
The event will be opened by Rt. Hon. Victor Dominello (TDS Director) and Vice Chancellor Professor Attila Brungs (UNSW Sydney) and Professor Andrew Parfitt (UTS). The forum is a unique opportunity to forge meaningful connections with stakeholders from academia, industry, and government.
Together, we will:
- Co-design research areas pivotal to a trustworthy digital society.
- Define interdisciplinary projects that promote equity, inclusivity, and sustainability in the digital realm.
- Explore new perspectives on business, societal impacts, behavioural science, regulatory frameworks, privacy, security, and digital technologies.
Contributions from Participants.
Participants are encouraged to contribute through:
- Allocating research time to a TDS project.
- Sharing thought leadership and diverse insights.
- Providing funding or investment within TDS projects.
- Provision of in-kind resources such as staffing, data sharing, technology and infrastructure.
