UNSW Textile Week

20 – 24 June 2022
9.00am – 5.00pm AEST
UNSW Paddington Campus
This event has ended

The textiles industry has undergone significant acceleration through the mechanisation of previously handmade processes. However, this capacity for mass-production has also led to a 'fast fashion' business model that cares little for growing social and environmental impacts.

UNSW Textile Week bring together researcher-led designer, not-for-profit organisations and industry experts to interrogate the connections between textiles and care through circular interventions, social inclusion and material preservation.
