Thinking about uni in the future?

This evening is the best place for you to start if you are thinking about attending university in two years' time and are currently a Year 10 student (or you are the parent or teacher of a Year 10 student).

Navigating HSC subject selection

We know that sorting out your subject selection for HSC can be tricky, we want to help by providing you with information straight from the Board of Studies, the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) and from our faculties and staff.

What we'll cover

We will make sure you're familiar with what you'll be doing during HSC subject selection - but also with how your subject selections may affect what adjustment factors (previously known as bonus points) you may be eligible for, what the difference is between assumed knowledge and prerequisites and how the uni admission and scholarships application process works. We promise we'll cover all of this in less than an hour (we're rehearsing now). Plus, we'll give you time either before or after the program to speak with our faculties and key staff so that you can get information and answers to any specific questions you may have.

Just one will do

We offer a number of Year 10 Subject Selection Evenings during the months of April and May. Please select the date that best suits you and don't worry about attending more than one (they're all the same).

Hurry!

Each evening almost always fills to capacity a few weeks before - so register as soon as possible to grab your seats. We look forward to meeting you!

Our welcome desk opens at 6pm each evening with all faculties and staff available to answer your questions until the program begins at 6.30pm. Following the program, all faculties and staff are once again available to answer any of your questions.

We are also holding additional session on the below date:
