This virtual National Dialogue aims to strengthen mutual awareness and action planning across Australian institutions and communities concerning natural capital accounting, recognizing its critical role as a foundation of measurement, innovation, investment, management and planning of progress towards Australia’s long-term well-being.
The Dialogue is hosted by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) and facilitated by the UNSW Sustainable Development Reform Hub. It will feature a scene-setting discussion between government, business and third sector thought leaders, followed by facilitated discussion to identify opportunities for natural capital accounting, policy and practice development for environmental policy and regulation, sustainable finance and investment, and economic policy and assessment.
