Co-hosted by UNSW Built Environment and the Australian Institute of Architects, the event will take place at 6pm on Monday 21 October.
Hear from Santa Monica-based Australian architects Hank Koning and Julie Eizenberg who jointly won the prestigious Gold Medal this year for their lifelong pursuit of social and community outcomes through architecture.
The Gold Medal recognises distinguished service by architects who have designed or executed buildings of high merit, producing work of great distinction that has advanced architecture or endowed the profession in a distinguished manner. Some of the previous medallists include Emeritus Professor Alec Tzannes AM (former Dean of UNSW Built Environment), Professor Glenn Murcutt (Professor Practice at UNSW Built Environment) and Jorn Utzon.
