In this talk, Minneapolis-based curators Pavel Pyś and Sara Cluggish discuss key projects that have informed their respective approaches to curating. Pyś and Cluggish will draw on a variety of work experiences and associated projects – from the context of the small-scale public institution and independent residency program to scholarly research institute and large-scale interdisciplinary art center.

Compositive investigates the potential in harvesting wasted time, utilising this dormant energy to produce new outcomes. A collaborative exercise with several thousand worms and some of my unknown fellow painting students, Compositive used discarded paintings from bins on campus and from my own personal archive to imagine a future without failure - or at least where success can be salvaged.

A space for experimentation, learning and growth. We don't work, we play, and we don't make works, we make games.
